This is my 1500th upload. I've been on AG for 15.5 years now and discovered AG when I lived in New Zealand. In the past years I've uploaded spots from 19 countries from 4 continents with many more to come in the future. AG has brought new friends, many awesome experiences, supercar rides and opportunities to combine travel and photography. For me, 2008 was the golden year when carspotting was not as hyped as it is now and when you didn't have to worry about cell phone spotters or laptop uploaders. I've always only uploaded star spots, with the exception of 11 spots that were in a way special. I don't find it interesting to upload spots that tons of people have already seen in a city. That means I don't upload a lot of cars, but I'm satisfied I've seen pretty much everything so far. My 'upload wishlist' has a 288 GTO, F50, 959, XJ220 and Zonda F on it, so those are gonna be goals for the future. Regarding this SV: I thought I was all alone on the mountain top driving towards the Spanish border, when I came across this beautiful SV Roadster, in Bianco Canopus. The BMW 1 next to it is wrapped in the same color. It was extremely quiet so a perfect moment to enjoy the scenery and this stunning SV-spec.

Gave spot en foto's! Mooie mijlpaal! Ik geef niks om sterspots. Vind het leuk om te zien hoe de database werkt en dat sommige auto's heel vaak in dezelfde plaats gespot worden door de jaren heen. Op naar de volgende 1500!

@thomcarspotter dat is ook een prima reden idd. Ik vind het leuk om te zien, maar merk tegelijkertijd dat die spots ook minder bekeken worden. Tenzij het kaliber Chiron is, dan krijg je de views sowieso wel. Ik vind dat er door de 'eis' van alleen sterspots ook wel een element van uitdaging ligt dat me wel bevalt. ?

Ach, voor de kliks hoef je het sowieso niet meer te doen tegenwoordig, wat heel jammer is. Waar voorheen (voor 2019) een standaard Quattroporte, AMG of Carrera S nog 500 tot 1000 views opleverde, worden soms nu de echte knallers maar 100x geopend. Dat is wel jammer. @Jeroen

Pfoeee, die thumbnail kan zo op een canvas aan de muur!
Was zelfs nog iets beter geweest als je een stap of 2 naar rechts was gegaan, maar dat zal wel lastig gemaakt zijn door de BMW er naast.
