Car in test phase, intended for the Asian market. Banned in Europe with the pollution standards... 100% thermal car. All this, according to the guy who tests the car. You don't know the Ford Everest? What could be more logical since this big 4x4 is not sold in our latitudes. Produced in Thailand, it is mainly intended for the Asia-Pacific market. In India, it is called the Endeavour. Only members of the French Army are familiar with it in France, as it has been their 4x4 tactical vehicle (VT4) since 2018, replacing the very old Peugeot P4. But, in fact, if you look at it closely (see photo below), you will recognise our Ford Ranger, the best-selling pick-up in France and quite common, especially in mountainous areas. The Everest is closely related to it and is the SUV version, if you like. With its pachyderm dimensions (almost 5 m long, 1.79 m wide and 1.84 m high), it is not really adapted to our regions. However, the next generation has just been spotted in southern Europe by our spy photographers, so could it be that Ford is thinking of importing it here?
