I found the 1 of 1 2008 Ferrari 599 GTB Jason Castriota Design Speciale turning onto Railroad Avenue on 3/20/2021. This car is 1 of only 20 with a 6-speed manual transmission that came to the United States and the only one designed by Jason Castriota Designs. For those who don't know: Jason Castriota is responsible for the design for many iconic exotic cars including the Ferrari 599, Ferrari P4/5 and the Maserati GranTurismo. This car was commissioned by the previous owner, Jason Castriota's father, in 2011 to fabricate new front and rear bumpers, rocker panels, front fenders and headlamps as well as a set of solid billet polished aluminum wheels. The purpose of this redesign was to bring the car closer to the original intent of the 599 using early concept sketches as a reference. All of the bodywork you see here is made of carbon fiber. This is most definitely a unicorn you don't see too often!

Can't say I've ever heard about this version 599. It's definitely unusual, but I like it. And the fact that it's a manual makes it even more special
