Dettagli spot
This is my replacement for Spot #1500. I found this insanely rare 1947 Cisitalia 202 SMM 'Nuvolari' Spyder and a Porsche 550 Spyder Replica parked on Greenwich Avenue on 10/28/2017. This was a race car produced by Italian car manufacturer Cisitalia to compete in the 1947 Millie Miglia. Had it not been for ignition problems caused by the torrential rain that year, Cisitalia would have won with an eight minute lead from the Modena checkpoint. Nevertheless, Cisitalia placed 2nd overall with all three cars coming in at the same time (2nd, 3rd, 4th positions all by Cisitalia). Only 20 cars were ever made with only 9 still left in existence, this being one of them. This one is owned by the owner of The Cultivated Collector in New Canaan, Connecticut. I guess fall really IS the season for car-spotting. If you want more info, RM Sotheby's sold one of these in 2013 for 425,600 pounds, which equates to $555,484.61 US dollars. I will link it in the comments below. License plate: 4·61915B (MT)
